Jean-Charles "JC" Sambor has been appointed head of emerging markets debt at London-based investment manager TT International.
The position is new, confirmed a spokesperson for the company.
Sambor will be joined by a “wider team of five investment and trading professionals,” focusing on emerging markets fixed income across sovereign and corporate credit, foreign exchange and rates, said a Sept. 4 news release.
That five-member team “will be joining from various institutions,” the spokesperson said.
Sambor formerly served as of head of emerging markets fixed income at BNP Paribas Asset Management.
Earlier this year, BNP Paribas AM named Alaa Bushehri as its head of emerging markets debt, according to a news release issued by BNP on April 2.
TT International has total of $5.3 billion in assets under management, the spokesperson said.
