Spencer Seto, the head of institutional sales for Asia ex-Japan at Janus Henderson Investors, will step down from his post in August, and his role will not be replaced, a spokesman confirmed.
Mr. Seto's responsibilities will be shared among three existing members of the distribution team: Dusan Zivkovic, director of client account management who will cover Hong Kong institutional clients; Kay Lee, director of institutional sales who will take care of South Korea and mainland China institutional clients; and Andrew Hendry, head of distribution for Asia who will oversee Southeast Asia institutional clients.
Mr. Zivkovic and Kristin Koh will continue to cover all aspects of client servicing for the Asia region, the spokesman added.
Mr. Seto, who is based in Hong Kong, has been with the firm since 2019 when he joined from PGIM Singapore.
Janus Henderson has $287.3 billion in assets under management as of Dec. 31.
Separately, Cody Law, director of financial intermediaries, will also depart from the firm in July. "His replacement has been identified and will be announced in the upcoming weeks as part of a series of new hire announcements," the spokesman said.
Messrs. Seto and Law did not respond to requests for comment on their next role.
