Kelly Cavagnaro has been named head of North America Institutional at Janus Henderson Investors, effective immediately.
Cavagnaro will “focus on expanding the firm’s institutional presence in North America by bringing the breadth and depth of Janus Henderson’s investment and solutions expertise,” said a news release Jan. 13.
Cavagnaro replaces T.F. Meagher, who left last year to pursue other opportunities, said source familiar with the matter.
Based in Boston, Cavagnaro reports to Michael Schweitzer, head of the North America client group.
Prior to joining Janus Henderson, Cavagnaro served concurrently as head of North America institutional sales and head of global consultant relations at Columbia Threadneedle Investments.
Janus Henderson has about $382 billion in assets under management.
