Richard Graham was appointed global head of consultant relations at Janus Henderson, a spokesman said.
The role is new. Mr. Graham leads the firm's engagement with investment consultants globally and heads the U.K. consultant relations team.
Based in London, he reports to Nick Adams, global head of institutional.
"Richard's hire marks an important step in the continued growth of our institutional team, where we are dedicated to securing first-rate individuals to drive the development of this business. The arrival of Richard will allow us to further build upon our relationships with investment consultants across the globe, working alongside our local sales and client relationship teams," Mr. Adams said in a news release Thursday.
Janus Henderson had $358.3 billion in assets under management as of Sept. 30.
Mr. Graham was most recently head of U.S. consultant relations at Schroders, leaving the firm in 2019. Marni Harp was named head of institutional consultant relations for the U.S. in March 2019.
