Aaron Kilberg and Patrick Caragher have joined Janus Henderson Group as senior members of its North America sales team.
Mr. Kilberg was named head of North America institutional sales, while Mr. Caragher was appointed institutional sales director, said a news release Tuesday.
Mr. Kilberg is based in New York and will lead the North America sales team, while "also covering the East region with a focus on corporate plans and public pensions," the news release said.
Based in Chicago, Mr. Caragher is "responsible for covering corporate and public pensions in the Midwest," the release added.
Both men report to T.F. Meagher, head of North America institutional distribution.
"The new hires are a combination of replacement and a result of adding resources in client-facing distribution roles," Mr. Meagher said in an email. "We are additionally actively recruiting for a West Coast salesperson to cover public and corporate plans and a Midwest salesperson for non-profits and OCIOs."
Mr. Kilberg was a senior business development director at abrdn. A spokesman for abrdn said in an email that Mr. Kilberg's "responsibilities are being covered by the team as we align a replacement."
Mr. Caragher most recently was a senior director on Aegon Asset Management's U.S. institutional team. Aegon could not be immediately reached for further details.
Janus Henderson had about $361 billion in assets under management as of March 31.
