Anna Duchnowska was named head of European asset management at Invesco Real Estate, a spokeswoman said.
Ms. Duchnowska replaced Paris-based Etienne Dupuy, who is to leave the firm at the end of September to pursue personal projects in the area of impact investing.
Ms. Duchnowska works with the 28 managers to manage asset strategies across Europe.
"Anna's depth of experience and knowledge coupled with her excellent relationships with some of our key tenants and other stakeholders made her the ideal candidate for the role, and provides continuity and reassurance to our clients," Andy Rofe, managing director and head of Europe at Invesco Real Estate said in a news release.
Ms. Duchnowska will continue to be based in Warsaw, where she has led the firm's Poland office since 2014. Invesco Real Estate is recruiting a replacement to fulfill her local asset management duties, the spokeswoman confirmed.
Invesco Real Estate has $79.8 billion in assets under management.
