Maximilian Kufer was named head of ESG for private markets at Invesco, the money manager said Thursday.
Mr. Kufer will be based in London and report to Cathrine de Coninck-Lopez, global head of ESG . He will be responsible for the strategy and integration of ESG into Invesco's real assets and private alternatives strategies globally.
Before joining Invesco in August, Mr. Kufer was global sustainability manager at AXA Investment Managers for five years. AXA IM hired Juliette Lefebure as sustainability manager, a spokeswoman confirmed.
Invesco had $1.35 trillion in assets under management as July 31.
