Elsa Palanza was named managing director and global head of sustainability and ESG at alternative money manager Intermediate Capital Group.
Based in London, she will join the manager in September, a news release said Thursday.
Ms. Palanza is replacing Eimear Palmer, an ICG spokeswoman said in an email. Ms. Palmer is joining private markets manager Pantheon in August in the newly-created role of partner and head of ESG, that firm announced Wednesday.
Ms. Palanza was global head of sustainability and ESG at multinational bank Barclays.
Intermediate Capital Group has about $71 billion in assets under management.
