George Holstead was named co-head of fixed income at fixed-income securities underwriter and distributor Incapital, a spokesman said.
Mr. Holstead reports to CEO John DesPrez and will work alongside Laura Elliott, also co-head of fixed income, in advancing the "broader strategy within fixed income," a news release said.
Mr. Holstead was previously managing director at investment bank Brean Capital, where he was responsible for the creation and development of its middle market and financial institutions group.
The spokesman could not immediately provide further information.
