Jamie Hammond was named deputy CEO, head of distribution for Europe, the Middle East and Africa at iM Global Partner, a company spokesman confirmed in an email.
The position is new.
Mr. Hammond will be responsible for the business development of the firm's Europe-focused group. He will report to Philippe Couvrecelle, founder and CEO of iM Global Partner.
Mr. Hammond was CEO of AllianceBernstein Limited (U.K.) and head of the EMEA client group. Ian Foster has assumed the role of acting CEO and Head of Global Client Group Onur Erzan will oversee EMEA distribution, while the firm seeks a permanent replacement, a spokeswoman confirmed.
IM Global Partner managed $27 billion in assets as of June 30.
