Jack Chee has been named CIO-U.S. of Litman Gregory Wealth Management and iM Global Partner Fund Management, replacing Jeremy DeGroot, who stepped down from that role on Sept. 20, according to an update on Litman Gregory's website.
Chee formerly served as the firms' director-portfolio management and head of fixed income strategies.
Chee reports to Philippe Uzan, deputy CEO and CIO-asset management of iM Global Partner. Chee has "worked closely with Jeremy over the past 23 years on manager and asset class research and the management of Litman Gregory's globally allocated portfolios," the update noted.
A spokesperson for Litman Gregory said, "We are in process of a new hire to fill Jack's fixed income coverage," adding that "Jack will continue his fixed income coverage until a replacement is named to handle and report to him."
Litman Gregory has approximately $2.3 billion in assets under management as of Aug. 31, the spokesperson added. iM Global Partner, a worldwide asset management network, acquired wealth and asset manager Litman Gregory in 2021.
