Peter Rosenbloom has been named managing director-head of Asia-Pacific, at alternative asset manager Hunter Point Capital.
It is a new position. Rosenbloom will be responsible for “deepening HPC's presence and relationships with institutional investors and alternative investment firms in the region,” said a Jan. 5 news release.
Rosenbloom will work alongside S.D. Chu, managing director, and Akira Takahashi, who was recently promoted to managing director-head of Japan, the news release said.
"Asia's growing prominence for both GPs (general partners) and LPs (limited partners) underscores the importance of having dedicated relationship managers on the ground," said Avi Kalichstein, CEO and co-founder of HPC, in the release.
Rosenbloom previously was a partner and head of Asia-Pacific institutional capital raising at Investcorp. Investcorp declined to comment on Rosenbloom’s successor.
