Jackie Roberts was named managing director of ESG at Hunter Point Capital.
It is a new position at the alternative investment firm, a spokesman said in an email.
Ms. Roberts is currently chief sustainability officer at agricultural firm AppHarvest and before then, she was the Carlyle Group's first chief sustainability officer when she joined the alternative money manager in 2014.
Hunter Point Capital was founded in October by Bennett Goodman, co-founder of GSO Capital Partners, and Avi Kalichstein, former managing principal at Easterly Partners Group. It makes minority investments in middle-market alternative money managers.
