Lisa Young-Harry joined HSBC Bank Pension Trust (U.K.) Ltd. as CEO, leading a team responsible for £30.5 billion ($35.5 billion) in retirement assets.
Ms. Young-Harry replaced Elizabeth Renshaw-Ames, who retired Tuesday, a spokeswoman confirmed.
The trust oversees £27 billion in defined benefit and £3.5 billion in defined contribution assets. It has 200,000 participants.
Ms. Young-Harry was head of group pensions at Tesco. The supermarket giant has about £15 billion in retirement assets. Spokesmen for Tesco could not be reached for comment.
