Michele Robitaille was named head of responsible investing at Canadian money manager Guardian Capital.
It is a new position, spokeswoman Angela Shim said. Ms. Robitaille, a managing director and portfolio manager at Guardian Capital, will work to further integrate responsible investing into the money manager's processes. She reports to Denis Larose, chief investment officer.
As of March 31, Guardian Capital had C$47.6 billion ($37.7 billion) of assets under management and C$28.7 billion of assets under administration.
