Chloe Kipling was named head of Goldman Sachs Asset Management's U.K. and Ireland institutional business team, a spokesman confirmed.
Ms. Kipling replaced David Curtis. Details on his future plans could not be learned.
Ms. Kipling is responsible for building relationships with institutional investors in the U.K. and Ireland. She joined the firm in 2005 and became a managing director in the institutional team in 2015.
"The U.K. is a core market for Goldman Sachs Asset Management and we are excited for Chloe to lead the institutional business," Fadi Abuali, CEO of GSAM international, said in an emailed comment. "As she has done over her career, she will continue to represent the best of Goldman Sachs and bring an exceptional quality of service to our clients as they navigate the global investment landscape."
GSAM had $2.2 trillion in assets under supervision as of March 31.
