James Lindsay joined alternative money manager Gresham House as head of institutional business, a spokeswoman confirmed.
She did not say whether the position is new or a replacement.
Mr. Lindsay is responsible for the strategic development and further expansion of the firm's institutional business both domestically and overseas. He works closely with Heather Fleming, managing director, institutional business.
"We are excited that James is joining the institutional business team, which is expanding after a strong year of client growth," CEO Tony Dalwood said in a news release. James has built an extensive network of high-quality relationships with institutional stakeholders over a distinguished career," Mr. Dalwood added.
Gresham House focuses on sustainable investments in forestry, housing, infrastructure, renewable energy and battery storage, public and private equity. It manages £4 billion ($5.5 billion) in assets.
Mr. Lindsay was managing director and head of sales at MFS Investment Management. The firm has not yet hired a replacement, a spokeswoman said.
