Katherine Park was named managing director at alternative asset manager Grafine Partners, company spokesman Douglas Allen confirmed.
The position is new. Ms. Park will be responsible for overseeing Grafine's global business development, including sourcing, evaluating and executing deals, as well as working with the firm's strategic capital partners. She will report to Elizabeth Weymouth, founder and managing partner of Grafine Partners.
Ms. Park was managing director and head of U.S. fund and private capital at Goldman Sachs. Goldman Sachs spokesman Patrick Scanlan could not be immediately reached for additional information.
