Michael Swell, a partner in fixed income and liquidity solutions and head of global fixed-income portfolio management at Goldman Sachs Asset Management, plans to retire at the end of the year, according to an internal memo obtained by Pensions & Investments.
Mr. Swell joined GSAM as managing director and head of structured products in 2007. He was named partner in 2012.
Whitney Watson, global head of fixed income portfolio construction and risk management, will expand her role to assume his responsibilities, according to the memo.
