Greg Calnon will join Ashish Shah as co-head of public investing at Goldman Sachs Asset Management, effective June 30, according to an internal company memo issued on Tuesday.
Mr. Shah will also continue as chief investment officer for public investing.
Together, Mr. Calnon and Mr. Shah will "partner to further advance our public investing capabilities across fixed income, public equities and multi-asset solutions," the memo read.
Mr. Calnon currently serves as head of multiasset solutions (MAS) at GSAM.
In addition, Tim Braude and Valentijn van Nieuwenhuijzen will become co-heads of MAS, effective June 30, reporting to both Mr. Calnon and Mr. Shah.
Mr. van Nieuwenhuijzen will also continue to serve as head of the sustainable investment and innovation platform, focusing on sustainable investing in public markets.
As co-heads, Mr. Braude and Mr. van Nieuwenhuijzen will "continue to grow this globally oriented, solutions-based business with strength across outsourced CIO, third party wealth, defined contribution and retirement solutions, and strategic partnerships," the memo added.
Mr. Braude will also continue to lead the OCIO business within MAS.
The firm has $2.4 trillion in assets under supervision across public investing, a company spokesman said by email, and total AUS of more than $2.6 trillion.
