Chad Plotke has been named a principal at GoldenTree Asset Management.
Based in Newport Beach, Calif., Mr. Plotke will "focus on business development, covering relationships such as family offices, corporate pensions, health-care organizations, endowments and foundations," said a news release Monday.
He will report to Kathy Sutherland, partner and chief executive officer.
Mr. Plotke was formerly an executive vice president and account manager at Pacific Investment Management Co. PIMCO declined to comment.
GoldenTree manages more than $50 billion in assets for institutional investors, including public and corporate pension funds, endowments, foundations, insurance companies and sovereign wealth funds, the news release added.
