Kent Weaver Jr. was named president of Glenmede Investment Management, while Stacey Gilbert was named chief investment officer, a company spokeswoman confirmed in an email.
Effective June 30, Mr. Weaver replaces Peter J. Zuleba III, who will remain director of investment management at Glenmede. The CIO position is new.
Mr. Weaver will assume primary operational responsibility for Glenmede, while Ms. Gilbert will be responsible for portfolio management, research trading and growing the firm's investment presence.
Mr. Weaver will continue to report to Mr. Zuleba, and Ms. Gilbert will report to Mr. Weaver.
Mr. Weaver was director of sales and client services and president of the Glenmede Funds. Ms. Gilbert was co-portfolio manager of derivatives. They will continue to serve in these roles.
Glenmede Investment Management had $13 billion of assets under management as of March 31.
