Jamie Damon was named senior director at money manager First Sentier Investors.
It is a new position, a spokeswoman said in an email. He reports to Bachar Beaini, First Sentier's managing director and head of the Americas region.
Mr. Damon, who is based in Salt Lake City and joined the firm Monday, leads North American sales and client servicing for the firm's active emerging markets and Asia-Pacific equity specialist affiliate FSSA Investment Managers.
Mr. Damon was previously an executive director at AQR Capital Management. AQR spokesman Kevin Infante declined to comment.
First Sentier Investors had $181 billion in assets under management as of June 30. Its affiliate, FSSA Investment Managers, had $39 billion in AUM, also as of June 30.
