Klaus Schuster will join Fiera Capital as executive director and CEO, EMEA, effective May 30.
The position is new and will allow the firm to expand its presence in Europe, the Middle East and Africa, a news release said.
Mr. Schuster will lead the company's distribution and marketing teams across the region, as well as provide executive leadership for all employees across all functions in EMEA.
Fiera Capital had about C$164.7 billion ($121.6 billion) in assets under management as of March 31. The firm runs public and private assets strategies. Spokesmen did not immediately respond to a request for comment.
Mr. Schuster was EMEA CEO at PineBridge Investments. He was replaced by Mick Sweeney, a spokeswoman said.
