Andrew Boyd, head of global equity capital markets at Fidelity Investments, is leaving the firm at the end of the year.
He is leaving to pursue other professional interests, said Fidelity spokesman Charles Keller in an email.
A successor to Mr. Boyd, who leads private equity investing across Fidelity funds, will be named in the "near future," Mr. Keller said.
Mr. Boyd could not immediately be reached for further information.
Fidelity Investments has $2.96 trillion in assets under management.
