Fidelity International appointed Marty Dropkin as head of equities, Asia-Pacific.
The position is new, according to a Fidelity news release Tuesday.
Mr. Dropkin was the firm's Hong Kong-based head of Asian fixed income, overseeing management of $25 billion of Asia fixed income client assets.
A spokeswoman said Fidelity International is in the process of appointing a permanent replacement for the head of Asian fixed income role.
Fidelity International oversees $767.6 billion in client assets, the news release said.
