Kathleen M. Bochman joined Fidelity Investments in September as managing director of ESG research, according to Pamela Holding, Fidelity's co-head of equity and asset management lead of sustainable investing.
Ms. Bochman "will be a great fit as she brings significant industry and investment experience to Fidelity, having held various roles as a managing director, portfolio manager and analyst," Ms. Holding said in a LinkedIn post.
Ms. Bochman will "collaborate closely with our new chief sustainability officer, Rina Kupferschmid-Rojas, to ensure consistency and alignment with Fidelity's overall corporate sustainability strategy and program," Ms. Holding added.
Charles Keller, a Fidelity spokesman, did not immediately respond to an email request for more information about Ms. Bochman's appointment.
Ms. Bochman was vice president and director of ESG at Loomis Sayles.
Loomis Sayles is conducting a search to replace Ms. Bochman, said spokeswoman Erin Heard in an email.
Ms. Heard said David Waldman, the firm's CIO, will serve as interim head of ESG until a replacement is hired.
Fidelity managed $4.2 trillion as of June 30 and Loomis Sayles managed $358 billion as of the same date.
