Martin Jarzebowski was named director of responsible investing at Federated Investors, spokesman Ed Costello said.
Mr. Jarzebowski, who will begin the newly created position on Sept. 3, will report to Anne H. Kruczek, executive vice president, who has led the responsible-investing office since its February founding.
In his role, Mr. Jarzebowski will work with other Federated investment teams to integrate environmental, social and governance factors and engagement into the money manager's investment strategies.
He is currently portfolio manager of the Federated Clover Small Value Fund, which will continue to be managed by Stephen Gutch, senior vice president, senior portfolio manager and head of the Clover Value team.
Federated Investors has about $502.2 billion in assets under management.
