Shane Gong was named managing director, private capital advisory group, at Evercore.
He will be based in Singapore, according to a news release Sunday.
Mr. Gong will lead the investment banking advisory firm's private capital advisory group throughout the Asia-Pacific region, the news release said.
Mr. Gong was previously executive director and head of the Singapore office of CPE Capital. CPE officials could not be immediately reached to provide further information.
