Eric Roberts has been named executive director and chief executive officer of Fiera USA, effective Nov. 13.
Roberts will be based in Boston and will "directly lead the marketing and distribution teams across the United States and provide executive leadership for all employees in the region," the firm said an Oct. 24 news release.
A spokesperson for Fiera said this is a newly created role.
Roberts most recently served as head of institutional in the U.S. at abrdn, a spokesperson for abrdn said.
"Eric Roberts is working on a smooth transition of his responsibilities to several members of the team while we evaluate the needs of our clients and our firm," said the spokesperson. "We intend to conduct a search for a replacement in the near future."
Fiera USA's parent, Montreal-based Fiera Capital, had approximately C$155.3 billion ($115 billion) in assets under management as of Sept. 30.
