Andy Clark was named CEO of responsible and sustainable manager EdenTree Investment Management, a spokesman said.
Mr. Clark replaces Sue Round, who has been acting CEO for two years, the spokesman said. She is deputy chairman of the firm.
Effective Sept. 14, Mr. Clark will also join the group management board of parent firm Ecclesiastical Insurance Group.
"We are delighted to announce the appointment of Andy to EdenTree at this incredibly exciting time for the business and for the industry, with the tremendous growth in interest we are seeing for responsible and sustainable investing," Mark Hews, group CEO of Ecclesiastical Insurance, said in a news release.
EdenTree ran £2.9 billion ($3.6 billion) in assets under management as of June 30, with about 45% managed on behalf of institutional clients.
Mr. Clark was U.K. CEO at HSBC Global Asset Management until March. Stuart White took on his responsibilities as part of his role as global head of strategy and U.K. and international CEO.
