Sue Round was named interim CIO at EdenTree Investment Management, effective Nov. 1, a spokesman said.
Ms. Round will replace Robin Hepworth, who is staying at the responsible and sustainable investment manager but will reduce his level of responsibilities at the firm. Chris Hiorns, senior fund manager, will take lead manager responsibility on the Higher Income Fund, with Mr. Hepworth supporting him. Mr. Hepworth will be a senior fund manager focusing on real estate.
Ms. Round will remain in the role until a permanent candidate is found. The firm hopes to find a replacement "as soon as reasonably possible whilst ensuring they hire the best candidate for the job," the spokesman said.
"We are incredibly grateful to Rob for his long service as CIO within the business and wish him all the best as he seeks to wind down his responsibilities," CEO Andy Clark said in a news release. "We are delighted Rob will be staying within the business and the investment team will continue to benefit from his wealth of experience and knowledge."
EdenTree has about £3 billion ($3.9 billion) in assets under management.
