Virginie Maisonneuve, CIO at Singapore-based Eastspring Investments, left to pursue other opportunities amid a reorganization of the firm's investment department, the company said Wednesday.
Ms. Maisonneuve couldn't immediately be reached for comment.
Eastspring, the Asia-focused asset management arm of Prudential PLC, said in an emailed statement the investment department for the firm's roughly $96.6 billion in assets under management as of Dec. 31 will be divided into an investment solutions team and an investment fund strategies team.
Ooi Boon Peng, CEO of Eastspring's Singapore and Hong Kong offices, will take on the additional role of head of investment fund strategies, while Kelvin Blacklock, currently chief investment officer for global asset solutions, will become head of investment solutions.
A spokeswoman for the firm declined to offer further details on the scope of the responsibilities for the two new roles.
Eastspring CEO Wai-Kwong Seck in the emailed statement said the restructuring is aimed at positioning the firm to better capitalize on market opportunities as client needs become increasingly complex.
