Vanessa Wang will join DWS Group in Hong Kong as head of client coverage, Asia Pacific, effective Sept. 1.
Ms. Wang will take on that role from Holger Naumann, who will remain DWS's head of the Asia-Pacific region, while continuing to play an active role with the firm's clients and strategic partners, according to a DWS news release.
Ms. Wang will come to DWS from Amundi, in Boston, where she has served as senior managing director and head of institutional business in the U.S., the news release said.
An Amundi spokeswoman couldn't immediately be reached for comment.
Ms. Wang will report to Dirk Goergen, the Frankfurt-based head of DWS's client coverage division.
