Marlena Lee was named head of investment solutions at Dimensional Fund Advisors, confirmed company spokesman Alex J. Stockham in an email.
Effective Aug. 1, Ms. Lee will join the newly created investment solutions group within the company's investment team. The investment solutions group was created to offer clients advice and guidance on any and all investment-related topics.
Ms. Lee was co-head of research at Dimensional. Savina Rizova, the other co-head, will become the firm's sole head of research.
Dimensional had $586 billion in assets as of June 30.
