Lara Hoffmans was named managing director, marketing, at Diamond Hill Capital Management.
The position is new. Ms. Hoffmans, who is based in the money manager's Columbus, Ohio, headquarters, reports to Jo Ann Quinif, chief client officer, according to a news release Tuesday.
Ms. Quinif was recently promoted to that new title from managing director, business development and marketing.
Ms. Hoffmans was previously director of investment communications at Artisan Partners. Artisan spokesman Mike Roos could not be immediately reached to provide further information.
Diamond Hill Capital Management had $23.4 billion in assets under management as of Dec. 31.
