Rehan Virani is the new CEO of $7.2 billion alternative investment manager DFG Investment Advisers, a DFG spokeswoman said.
Mr. Virani will oversee firm management, fundraising and develop structured and corporate credit investment solutions for investors.
Mr. Virani replaces Oliver E. Wriedt, who had joined DFG to take on the CEO role in 2019, according to DFG's website. Mr. Wriedt is now a senior strategic adviser to DFG.
At the same time, DFG announced the promotions of Kashyap Arora to co-CIO, Selma Cilka to co-chief risk officer, and Alex Nerguizian to co-head of business development. Mr. Arora will work alongside Volkan Kurtas, DFG co-founder, managing partner and CIO. Ms. Cilka will work with Moritz Hilf, co-founder and managing partner who oversees risk, technology and operations, and Mr. Nerguizian will work with Kimito Iwamoto, co-founder and managing partner.
Mr. Virani was head of business development for private debt for the Americas and Asia at Partners Group. Partners Group spokeswoman Clare Burrows declined to comment on Mr. Virani's replacement.
