Rasmus Cederholm will join Danish money manager Formuepleje as CIO, leaving his role as CIO at AP Pension, Copenhagen, at the end of August.
Effective Sept.1 Mr. Cederholm will replace Henrik Franck. Mr. Franck left the firm at the end of May, Formuepleje said in a news release on its website.
Mr. Cederholm will join the investment committee, which is responsible for the firm's overall investment strategy and asset allocation.
Assets under management at the firm, which runs equities and bonds, were not available.
An AP Pension spokesman said the €20 billion ($21.6 billion) pension fund is in the process of finding a replacement.
"Rasmus came from his own ranks when he stepped into the role of investment director a little more than two years ago. And although I would have liked to have seen him stay a little longer at AP Pension, it also makes me proud that we as an organization develop talents that other companies find attractive," Bo Normann Rasmussen, AP Pension's managing director, said in a news release.
Mr. Cederholm was named CIO at the pension fund as of June 1, 2021. He was the pension fund's head of equities between 2017 and 2021.
A Formuepleje spokesman could not be immediately reached.
