Ralf Magnussen will join Nykredit Asset Management as CEO, leaving Danish pension fund AP Pension, Copenhagen.
Mr. Magnussen will replace Morten Therkildsen, effective Aug. 16, a spokesman for Nykredit said.
Mr. Magnussen is investment director at AP Pension and will leave at the end of July, an AP Pension news release said. The fund, which had 171.3 billion Danish kroner ($28.3 billion) as of Dec. 31, is looking for a replacement, the news release said.
Any replacement must agree with the fund's sustainable investing profile and be passionate about contributing to the green-economy transition, CEO Bo Normann Rasmussen said in the release.
Spokesmen for AP Pension could not be reached for comment.
