Andrew Jackson was named head of fixed income for Credit Suisse Asset Management, the asset manager said Wednesday in a news release.
He will start in June and be based in Zurich, reporting to Filippo Rima, head of investment for Credit Suisse Asset Management, the release said. Alexandre Bouchardy, head of asset management investment strategy Switzerland and EMEA, has held the head of fixed income position on an interim basis.
Mr. Jackson was head of fixed income and a fund manager with Federated Hermes. Spokesman Johnny Weir said in an email that rather than replacing him, Fraser Lundie will fill the role of head of fixed income for public markets and Patrick Marshall becomes head of fixed income for private markets. Both men worked for Mr. Jackson and will now report to Eoin Murray, head of investment, Mr. Weir said.
Credit Suisse Asset Management also named Matthew Oakeley global head of data and digital services, effective June 2022. He joins from UBS Asset Management, where he served as chief digital and information officer since 2019. He will be based in London and report to COO Markus Ruetimann, the release said.
Credit Suisse Asset Management had 462 billion Swiss francs ($482.7 billion) in assets under management.
