Bastien Drut was named head of research and strategy at CPR Asset Management, a subsidiary of Amundi, a spokeswoman said Friday.
Effective Feb. 1, Mr. Drut replaced Laetitia Baldeschi, who left the company, the spokeswoman added. Ms. Baldeschi could not be reached to provide details about her next appointment.
Mr. Drut has been responsible for thematic macrostrategy at CPR AM since 2021. He joined the firm in 2018 as senior economist and strategist.
The spokeswoman added that the firm is in the process of hiring a new strategist to take over Mr. Drut's previous role.
CPR has €64 billion ($69.3 billion) in assets under management.
