Lisa M. Longino was named chief investment officer at Corebridge Financial.
Her appointment is effective immediately, a news release said Monday. She reports to CEO Kevin Hogan.
Ms. Longino replaces Sabra Purtill, who was named interim chief financial officer of American International Group following the January termination of Mark Lyons, executive vice president, global chief actuary, head of portfolio management and interim CFO. Corebridge Financial was AIG's life and retirement business before it was spun out last year.
Ms. Longino was previously managing director and head of global investment strategy at Prudential Financial.
Corebridge Financial spokesman Matt Burkhard and Prudential spokesman John Chartier could not be immediately reached for further information.
