Richard Colwell, head of U.K. equities at Columbia Threadneedle Investments, will retire in November.
He will be succeeded by Jeremy Smith and Catherine Stanley as co-heads of U.K. equities, a news release said Tuesday. Mr. Smith is currently head of U.K. equity research and portfolio manager, and Ms. Stanley is currently managing director and head of global small-cap equities.
Spokesman Campbell Hood could not be immediately reached for further information on their current positions.
Mr. Smith will also take on lead portfolio manager duties for four U.K. equity funds managed or co-managed by Mr. Colwell, including the £3.7 billion ($4.2 billion) CT U.K. Equity income Fund.
Columbia Threadneedle Investments has £429 billion in assets under management.
