Kelly-Ann Cavagnaro was named head of consultant relations for the North America institutional business at Columbia Threadneedle Investments, company spokesman Carlos P. Melville confirmed in an email.
She replaced Kathleen Kennedy, who retired in April.
Ms. Cavagnaro will lead the consultant relations team that develops and maintains relationships with U.S. and global investment consultants. She will report to Scott Couto, head of North America.
Ms. Cavagnaro was head of Americas consultant relations at State Street Global Advisors. The firm is planning to hire a successor, SSGA spokeswoman Olivia Offner said.
Columbia Threadneedle managed $468 billion in assets as of June 30.
