Daniel P. Charles joined Cohen & Steers in the new position as executive vice president and head of global distribution, a news release said.
Mr. Charles is in charge business development and client service for the real-asset investments firm. He reports to Joe Harvey, president and CIO of Cohen & Steers, according to a Cohen & Steers spokesman.
Mr. Charles had been head of global distribution at William Blair until the end of 2018, said Tony Zimmer, spokesman for William Blair in an email. At that time, Robert Duwa became head of North American distribution and Thomas Ross became head of European distribution at William Blair.
