Darie Urbanky, president, chief operating officer and head of CI Global Asset Management, a wholly owned subsidiary of CI Financial Corp., will retire on or before Dec. 31, 2024.
Marc-Andre Lewis, executive vice president and chief investment officer of CI GAM, will assume the role of co-head of CI GAM, effective Jan. 1, 2024, said a Dec. 21 news release. Lewis will retain his position as CIO.
Urbanky joined CI GAM in 1996, becoming chief operating officer in 2018 and president in 2019.
CI Financial managed and advised on about C$420.7 billion ($303.9 billion) in client assets as of Oct. 31.
