Bennett Love was named principal and head of fund finance at Nuveen subsidiary Churchill Asset Management.
It is a new position, a spokeswoman said in an email. Mr. Love, who will be responsible for Churchill's leverage strategy and financing arrangements for the manager, reports to Shai Vichness, Churchill's chief financial officer.
Mr. Love was previously director of corporate debt finance in Wells Fargo's securities division, part of its corporate and investment bank.
Churchill Asset Management has $37 billion in assets under management.
