Robert Kendall was named president at multiboutique money manager Carillon Tower Advisers.
He replaces Cooper Abbott, who retired on March 31, a spokesman said in an email.
Mr. Kendall was previously co-head of the global coverage group at DWS Group and was regional head of the Americas and CEO of DWS Americas. He left the firm on July 1 following a restructuring of the money management firm.
Mark Cullen, chief operating officer at DWS, took on Mr. Kendall's responsibilities at the time.
As of March 31, Carillon Tower Advisers and its affiliates had $74 billion in assets under management.
