Samantha Davidson was named president and head of global investing at Cambridge Associates.
She will join the investment firm in July and report to CEO David Druley, a spokeswoman said in an email.
Ms. Davidson will replace Noel O'Neill, who will be moving to the newly created position of head of investment implementation. A news release Wednesday said Mr. O'Neill will be in charge of making sure Cambridge Associates is "finding and investing in the best investment ideas." He will continue to report to Mr. Druley, the spokeswoman said.
Ms. Davidson was previously senior partner and U.S. investment solutions business leader at Mercer. Mercer spokeswoman Katherine Ratcliffe could not be immediately reached for further information.
Cambridge Associates has about $548 billion in assets under advisement and $67 billion in assets under management.
