Michael Novoseller was named senior investment professional at Brightwood Capital Advisors.
It is a new position, a spokeswoman said in an email. Mr. Novoseller will be responsible for originations for Brightwood Funds and report to Sengal Selassie, managing partner and CEO.
Mr. Novoseller, who rejoined the firm Feb. 16, had been a managing director at Brightwood Capital from 2011 to 2015 before leaving to become a managing director at ArrowMark Partners, primarily responsible for expanding that manager's middle-market direct lending business. He left in 2018.
Chris Dunne, managing director at ArrowMark, could not be immediately reached for further information.
Brightwood Capital has about $4 billion in assets under management.
